This firm published cards in series on various subjects. The examples from the series ‘Heidelberg’ illustrate scenes from the play ‘Alt Heidelberg’ (think Student Prince), which opened in Berlin in November 1901 and was an immediate success. The card with the VS logo is evidently part of the same production.
