Barmen was an industrial town in Germany, now forming part of Wuppertal.

Peter Luhn is one of the printer/publishers researched in detail at www.tpa-project.info. The star logo was used from 1897 and “PELUBA” for the last few years from 1924. A general art printer, cards date from probably about 1905 onwards and are not topographical. Many, maybe most, were exported.
